Learning From My Wagering Errors
I have been gambling on the internet or at real life gambling dens for a lot of years. I have learned, the addiction is able to take a hold of you and you will not even realize it till you are broke. Specifically if you are on a run. I have been through countless tens of thousands of dollars in just a short period of time and even today, I will go a bit too long. It seems you are just enjoying yourself up till you make a choice to track your losses and the guilt settles in, and then you continue telling yourself "I could gain it back" ad infinitum. It never works. Then you feel sick to your stomach and the more you try the more rapidly you throw away.
When you see that you are ahead, STAY Ahead! When you start to give away, do not convince yourself, "well just one more" a number of times, believe me, this method RARELY ever functions. Say you plan on wagering on one armed bandits, have an amount set aside prior to starting your play. DON’T exceed this threshold, regardless of how appealing. If you happen to profit, put the winnings in a different canister. Don’t wager your payouts at any cost. After you have wagered through your initial set limit, stop. Depart, whether it is on the net or at a land based gambling den, do not stick at the tables or machines. Make sure to keep in mind, there will be another day, another time. Obviously, this scheme usually will function for any game that you enjoy, be it bingo, poker, video poker, keno, twenty-one or any other casino game.
Remember, wagering should be entertaining not exhausting, sickening work! If you are not enjoying yourself, you do not belong at the casinos. If you cannot pay for the losses, don’t ever begin.
