Being Taught From My Gambling Errors

First to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling online or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the fixation can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it up until you are penniless. Especially if you are on a winning streak. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go a bit too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you start to pay attention to your squanderings and the guilt settles in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It does not works. Then you become queasy in your belly and the more you attempt the faster you are deprived.

When you notice that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, don’t say to yourself, "well just maybe one more" and again and again, believe me, this logic almost never ever functions. Say you’re betting on slots, have a bankroll put aside before beginning your play. Don’t go over that limit, no matter how tempting. If you actually succeed, put that in a different cup. Do not risk your profits no matter what. Once you’ve played through your original set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s online or at a land-based casino, do not stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be a different day, a different time.

Remember, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, do not even begin.
